Since we started having an interest in birding, we have looked for birding opportunities while on vacation. We sometimes hire guides to help find birds.
What a time we had in Costa Rica. Beautiful country, wonderful people. great guide and georgeous birds.
227 species seen of which 177 Lifers.
First time birding in the Dominican Republic. Visited a National Park and spots around the resort.
42 species of which 17 were lifers (8 DR endemics and 3 Caribbean endemics). a
Second time in Cayo Coco in 2020. Our expectations were to exceed the number of species and lifers, seen last time.
Saw 114 species of which 12 were lifers.
First time blending our vacation with birding. Very enjoyable time in Cayo Coco, Cuba
