Lise and I have always been interested in birds and whenever we would see or hear birds, we tried to identify them. In many instances, we would recognize the common ones; Blue Jays, Northern Cardinals, etc,. However, often we were not able to identify the species. Then in 2017, we went to Point Pelee National Park during the Birding Festival. We signed up for a few guided hikes. The guides were excellent and we recorded upward of 50 different species, most of which were new to us. Well, that's all it took. We were hooked on ornithology. We may not be very good at it, hence the word Quasi, but we definitely enjoy it.
This site is our effort at sharing some of the photos of birds we've seen since then. Enjoy.
